Just signed up and not sure how to list your lendable books? Trouble understanding how to borrow? Here's a "Getting Started Guide" for you newbies ;-)
ADDING BOOKS YOU OWN: You can visit the MY BOOKS page at http://ebookfling.com/mybooks.html and use the search box to find the ebooks you own. When you find one, simply add it to your list by clicking the "+MY BOOKS" button. Wash, rinse, and repeat till you've been able to add all the ebooks you own. (Pay attention to whether you're adding a Nook version or a Kindle version. This is important).
REQUESTING BOOKS TO BORROW: Much in the same way that you'd use the search box to find books you own, you can do the same for books you'd like to borrow. If it's a "lending-enabled" title and in-stock, you'll see a "REQUEST FLING" button. Otherwise you'll see buttons to add it to WISHLIST (so you can be notified when a book becomes available) or BUY if you'd prefer not to wait or if it's a non-lendable title. HOW CREDITS WORK: When you request a book to borrow, it costs 1 credit. For every book requested of you that you successfully send out, you earn 1 credit... and round and round we go.
SENDING A FLING: If one of your books is requested by another person to send, you'll receive an email instructing you to send it (you'll have plenty of instructions when the time comes). You'll earn 1 credit as soon as we see that the book has been successfully sent.
